AUTHORS' FAIR and BOOK FESTIVAL IN CHAMBERSBURG
St. Paul United Methodist Church, 750 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA, will host its fourth annual Authors' Fair and Book Festival on Saturday, October 1, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the church's Family Life Center. This is an opportunity for authors to sell their books and network with other authors.
A wide variety of both fiction and non-fiction books will be available. The many different genres include historical fiction, memoirs, Civil War, children's stories, mystery, romance, autobiography, cookbooks, cat stories, self-help, and Holocaust stories.
Authors will also lead mini-seminars on various topics throughout the day. From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., author Virginia Stake will present a religious Civil War drama she has written. Marie Hershey, a local musician from Cumberland Valley School of Music, will provide musical entertainment.
PIANIST / ORGANIST POSITION OPEN AT BETHEL BROGUE UMC, BROGUE
Bethel Brogue United Methodist is currently seeking a pianist/organist who would be available for our traditional Sunday morning worship service. Availability is also necessary for seasonal worship services and special occasions.
