BISHOP'S PARTNERS IN MISSION - A MILESTONE ACHIEVED AND A COMMITTED LEADERSHIP TEAM
At the end of August 2016, Bishop's Partners in Mission reached $506,929.48. Passing the half-million mark is a milestone for celebration and thanks. Thank you to the pastors and people of the Susquehanna Conference who have given generously and sacrificially for "Imagine No Malaria" and Mission Central. The "people" include all age groups from children to seniors. It includes congregations of all sizes. It includes churches in all seven districts of the conference. Thank you!
However, it's not time to relax, but to be re-energized. We have achieved just 25 percent of the grand goal of raising $1 million for "Imagine No Malaria" and erasing the $1 million mortgage debt of Mission Central. To help us advance more rapidly to that goal, we have built, and continue to build, a field leadership team of district ambassadors and local ambassadors:
Pastor Jason Schwartzman (DA) and Pastor Duane Coy (LA)
Russell Goodman (DA) and Carol Evertts (LA)
Rev. Strother Gross (DA)
Pastor Fred Snyder (DA) and Pastor T.J. McCabe (LA)
State College District
To be filled
To be filled
Larry Speer (DA), Rev. Richard Bowers (LA), and Pastor Lourdes Stevens (LA)
District ambassadors will assist in recruiting, training, and equipping local ambassadors. District ambassadors will promote Bishop's Partners in Mission at district events and will advocate, educate, and raise funds. Local ambassadors will work with local churches and will equip lay people to facilitate local church BPIM fundraising efforts. Please provide your support and encouragement to these district ambassadors and local ambassadors. Two ways that every reader can contribute are to pray for the continued success of BPIM and to recommend yourselves or others for leadership roles in our growing BPIM field leadership team.
For God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)
