SPECIAL WORSHIP EXPERIENCE
Larry Coleman has been coordinating a worship outreach for residents of work release in Dauphin County under the auspices of Christian Churches United at 413 S. 19th St., Harrisburg. A special worship experience is planned for October 23 at 4 p.m. as they enter their eighth year. Jonathan Z. Queen will be the preacher of the day, and a reception at 5:15 p.m. will be hosted by "Successful Ex-Offenders."
Queen used a 10-year federal sentence as a stepping stone to mentoring returning citizens (from incarceration) and full-time ministry at First Baptist Church, Glenarden, Maryland (Master of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary (see www.linkedin.com/in/jonathanzqueen)).
