OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR 2018 FOR ACTIVE PASTORS
The 2018 Annual Election for health insurance started Wednesday, November 1, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, November 16. Annual Election is your ONLY opportunity to select pre-tax savings for 2018 through flexible spending accounts as well as dependent care accounts. The IRS released that the health care FSA limits will be increased to $2,650 for 2018.
For those whose spouse and/or family already have other coverage available, consider removing them from your conference plan. This would mean a savings to you in payroll deduction for employee health insurance and premium savings across the conference.
To make your selection(s), please visit wespath.org and log in to HealthFlex/WebMD and select "HealthFlex Plan Benefits" or "Annual Election". Once you have made your selections you can print a Benefit Summary to give to your treasurer. The Benefit Summary shows the plan selected and the FSA amount (if any) selected. Your church treasurer will need this information for January payroll.
If you need help logging in to your WebMD account, please call WebMD Customer Support at 1-866-302-5742.
For more information, and to use Alex, an online support tool, please view the PDF file.

"JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM" PRESENTATION
Tunkhannock United Methodist Church will be presenting "Journey to Bethlehem" on Friday, December 8, and Saturday, December 9, from 6 - 9 p.m. each night.
Visitors begin at the church where they will board a hay wagon equipped with bales of hay for seats, lots of warm blankets to wrap up in, and narrators who will make the story come alive.
There are eight live scenes located throughout Tunkhannock where the events surrounding the birth of Jesus are enacted. The big finale is on the courthouse lawn and includes not only Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus, but also the three wise men, shepherds with their sheep, angels, and the church choir presenting beautiful music. Once back at the church, homemade cookies and hot beverages will be served.
Over 80 church volunteers have been working for months to prepare for this big two-night event, which is offered to the community free of charge. The church is located at the corner of Church and Warren Streets in Tunkhannock.
