LAY MEMBERS AT LARGE NEEDED FOR ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2018
The Susquehanna Annual Conference, Better Together ... One with Christ, will be held at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center May 31-June 2, 2018. If you would like to serve as a lay member at large and are not serving as a district representative, the elected lay member, the elected alternate representing your church/charge, a certified lay minister serving a church, or attending conference due to some other lay leadership role, please read the following instructions to submit your name:

CONFERENCE OFFICE AND DISCOVERY PLACE HOLIDAY HOURS
The Conference office and Discovery Place will be closed Monday, January 15, 2018, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Both will reopen Tuesday, January 16.
COMPUTER MINISTRY RECYCLE DAY
The Computer Ministry at Mission Central will have a recycle day January 20 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m at Mission Central.
We will accept all computer-related equipment and electronics. We do not take TV's.

REV. YEUN IS AVAILABLE AS A GUEST PREACHER
Rev. Dr. Paul Yeun is available as a guest preacher and to teach congregations how to do pastoral care and counseling, particularly hospital and nursing visitations.
"Being a Healing Presence: I Want to Help, but Teach me How," is a short course on teaching laity to visit patients effectively in hospitals and health care institutions. He has taught and trained hundreds of lay people and local pastors over the last 18 years at Chambersburg Hospital. Their pastoral care program received the first ever Achievement Award from the Hospital and Health System Association in Pennsylvania.
His doctoral concentration was on pastoral care of older persons. He also has a presentation entitled, "Ministry to the Spiritual and Emotional Needs of the Aging."
